American Associated Pharmacies (AAP) is currently looking to hire a Member Support Representative.
Position Purpose: Help AAP members maximize the benefits of cooperative membership by responding to support requests and conducting proactive outreach to promote AAP's culture, products, and services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Triage and respond to member questions and support requests with friendly and professional communications, both verbal and written.
- Perform outbound phone calls to educate member pharmacies on AAP culture, programs, processes and services, and to enhance the relationship between AAP and the pharmacy.
- Engage with other team members and departments to provide accurate and complete responses to member requests.
- Thoroughly document all member interactions in AAP's CRM software to ensure other AAP team members have a comprehensive view of member activities.
- Manage enrollment and onboarding process for new member pharmacies.
- Participation in the planning and execution of AAP's Annual Conference, which may include travel to the conference location for 3-4 days annually.

- Ability to adapt and respond to different personality types and communication styles while remaining attentive, respectful, honest and professional.
- Professional, courteous and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to member satisfaction, excellent customer service skills, driven to create a positive member interaction with the intent of building member advocates one interaction at a time.
- Moderate computer experience required; experience with Excel preferred.
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail a must.
- Effectively handle confidential information and communications in a professional manner.
- Minimum of High School Diploma with higher education preferred.
Position Type: Full-time hourly / non-exempt
Reports To: Member Support Manager
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with possible overtime depending on workload and supervisor approval, is anticipated. This is, however, a challenging and demanding position, and it is crucial to our success. We expect that the person in this position will devote whatever time is required to ensure their success, as well as that of our company.
