The University of West Florida is seeking candidates for a 12- month, full-time faculty, 1 FTE, position at the rank of Lecturer in the School of Nursing to join its dynamic team as part of a rapidly growing onsite pre-licensure program.
This 12-month position will primary be assigned to the pre-licensure nursing program and will teach in the classroom, online, and clinical settings on the Pensacola campus. The position responsibilities include the use of technology in the classroom and online, and teaching students in a broad range of clinical settings that align with the faculty member’s expertise. This position may also teach in other School of Nursing programs as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Holds at least a master's degree in nursing. Experience supervising and teaching pre-licensure students in the clinical setting. Must obtain or have a clear unencumbered Florida Nursing License upon hire.
Position Qualifications
Experience in one of the following: acute care setting, community health, pediatrics, or mental health nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The preferred response date for the posting is April 21, 2025, but the position will remain open until filled.
