Outstanding opportunity to join a national leader in Neuroscience. The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare has a new opportunity available for a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Practice team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, located in Bridgeport, CT.
Practice autonomously, but collaboratively with a team of attending neurosurgeons and APPs providing specialized care to spine patients including MIS and deformity, intracranial cases, neurovascular, peripheral nerve, and neurotrauma.
Job details :
- Managing neurosurgical spine and brain patients on the floor and ICU setting.
- Intake H&PEs, progress notes consultations, post-operative care, and discharges.
- Providing neurosurgical consultations in the hospital and in the Emergency Dept.
- First assisting the attending neurosurgeon with any emergency procedure.
- Shifts include 7am-7 : 30pm or 7am-3 : 30pm.
Job requirements :
BE / BC Neurologist with Surgical background preferred (trauma, general, or neuro).
