MEDICAL PHYSICIST - RADIATION ONCOLOGY
The Duke Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking highly motivated applicants for a medical physicist position supporting our clinical missions at our main and affiliate locations. Facilities are equipped with TrueBeam machines β all with onboard kV/MV radiograph/CBCT for IGRT and gated treatment, photon and electron capabilities, ARIA information system, and Eclipse planning system. The successful candidate may provide a wide range of radiation therapy physics services and support including, but not limited to, treatment planning and delivery, SBRT, IMRT/IGRT, equipment acceptance/commissioning, quality assurance, and chart checking. In addition, the affiliate site position is expected to be the radiation safety officer and contribute to clinical projects and initiatives for the Duke system and serve in internal/external committees and organizations.
The qualified candidate should have a Masters or PhD in Medical Physics or related degree, be ABR board certified, and have proven clinical experience.
