Junior Estimator Job Description

This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to learn outdoor construction from beginning to end in a specialized construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing accurate and competitive bids for upcoming projects.
• Work closely with senior estimators to analyze project plans, calculate costs, communicate with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure our bids are complete and competitive.
• Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate material, equipment, and employee allocations, and other critical tasks to keep projects on track.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in heavy site-civil construction (field experience, estimating, or project coordination preferred).
• Knowledge of site work, paving, drainage, or sports facility construction is a plus.
• Proficient in project scheduling applications (Gantt Project or others).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bid2Win software (or willingness to learn).
