Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organization and requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees while adhering to relevant regulations.
- Develop budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance and assist in decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to implement financial strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Handle all invoicing including AP and AR
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including budgeting and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for efficient bookkeeping processes.
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to assess financial data accurately.
- Knowledge of payroll processing regulations is preferred.
- We manage our daily workflow in Monday.com. Ability and interest in learning new applications such as Monday.com is critical.
- We live in Google Drive with knowledge and skill using this along with Excel is mandatory
- We use Quickbooks desktop which you would work in and in conjunction with our Office Administrator.
