Warranty Co-opJob Description Summary
We are searching for a Warranty Co-op to work with our Quality team in Detroit, MI!Job Description
Pull customer warranty data to track parts by cost, labor codes and cases.
Interface with cross-functional teams throughout AAM both Corporate and Plant (Product Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Gear Lab Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.).
Test and tear down the warranty returned parts to determine the root cause of issue.
All other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Education
Pursuing undergraduate degree fulltime at an accredited university.
Major preferred: Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
Job hours: Minimum 25 hours per week.
Must be interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
Technical / Industrial knowledge and/or experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills.
