Overview of Position
Assurant is looking for a Sales Support Processor to join our dynamic team. You will serve as the 2nd point of contact in fulfilling the insurance needs of our customers by assisting them via inbound phone calls or email communications to facilitate closure of the sale, after the initial conversation with a Sales Agent for: Manufactured Home, Classic Car and other insurance products. You’ll be working in a team environment, that's focused on working together towards a common goal. Brainstorming, strong open communication, and collaboration with your team members are essential for success.
This is a hybrid position for a candidate in South Florida. You will be working from our Miami office once a week.
Work Schedule- 11:00 am -8:00 pm, Monday through Friday
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Handle inbound & outbound sales support calls, for customers who have already spoken to a Sales Agent, to ensure all necessary documentation is gathered and submitted to UW.
Maintain Excel logs to track post sales activity, including gathering and distributing all necessary information and interacting with the Sales agents to ensure compliance.
Maintain the support email boxes by reviewing and following up on all correspondence and ensuring resolution.
Process incoming checks and mail documents via USPS and/or email to customer.
Provide support to the Sales Agents by collecting payments and issuing policies as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and deadlines and maintain excellent customer experience.
Work closely with other departments to maintain open communication and expedite customer requests for pending sales.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
High school diploma or GED
One (1) plus year of customer service-related experience
4 years of experience working on a desktop/laptop
Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Navigate and enter data on multiple screens
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong listening skills.
Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills using dual monitors with an ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license or be willing to obtain one of these licenses within 12 months from hire date. Time for training and any applicable cost/fees will be provided
Ability to become appointed/licensed as non-resident in all applicable states.
Complete mandatory licensure continuing education and other training sessions as appropriate.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
One (1) plus year of call center related experience
One (1) plus year of insurance related experience

Pay Range:
$16.95 - $27.12Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
