We are currently seeking to add a Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialist to our team. This position is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of multi-level BOMs (Bill of Materials) within the ERP and MRP systems. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure product data integrity throughout the product life cycle.

Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams during product development to build and update BOMs.
- Create, modify, and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level BOMs.
- Ensure BOMs reflect correct part numbers, structure, components, and quantities with accurate timing and revision tracking.
- Facilitate communication between departments to resolve BOM-related issues and implement timely updates.
- Execute BOM updates and adjustments as part of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Work with accounting and procurement teams to ensure accurate costing and sourcing of B OM components.
- Maintain documentation and data integrity across systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems, and BOM processes.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of materials, processes, and cost flows in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or a related field required.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing, production, planning, purchasing, or engineering environment.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in an office setting within a manufacturing facility, with occasional interaction on the production floor.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
