We are currently seeking to add a Strategic Financial Analyst to our team. This position is responsible for delivering data-driven financial support, identifying key performance trends, and helping operational leaders make informed decisions that improve cost efficiency, customer profitability, and overall business performance. This role plays a critical part in translating financial data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence.
This is an on-site role reporting to the C-Suite, and candidates must be located within commuting distance to any of the following locations:
- Savannah, Tennessee
- Jackson, Tennessee
- Plymouth, Indiana
- Arlington, Texas
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Corporate FP&A team to analyze and interpret financial data relevant to operational performance.
- Analyze trends, highlight areas of concern or opportunity, and present insights to operational leadership to improve performance.
- Partner with operational teams to build and refine monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans tied to financial and operational goals.
- Align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with financial objectives, helping to establish a standardized performance measurement framework.
- Collaborate with site leaders throughout the month to gauge financial progress and support real-time decision-making.
- Provide detailed customer account analysis, including profitability and account-level performance.
- Deliver SKU-level profitability reports and contribute to discussions on product/category strategy and performance optimization.
- Act as a key financial liaison to operations, ensuring cross-functional alignment between finance, supply chain, and production.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, cost analysis, and performance management.
- Exceptional Excel skills and proven experience with financial software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree in business is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, or a related role with increasing responsibility.
- Experience in a financial analyst role in manufacturing industry preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in an office setting within a manufacturing facility, with occasional interaction on the production floor.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
