JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Operations Supervisor (Graveyard)

Job Summary:

Provides supervision and acts as a resource for Care Team, Facility Monitor, and Health Care Coordinator staff. Ensures that the health care needs of the clients are met. Ensures building security and appropriate order and safety for all clients. Responds to clients’ needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and two years experience related to the essential duties and functions of the job description. Must have a genuine concern for people, ability to relate to people, be reliable, and conscientious.

Shift Requirements***:

Must be able to work overnights - 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to use computer keyboard and monitor for long periods of time.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise (business office with computers, printers, light traffic). Requires travel between facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Ensures that all support staff are attending to their responsibilities as dictated by ABHS polices and procedures and State WACs.2.Provides overall supervision of Care Team, Facility Monitor, and HCC staff.

4. Responsible for preparing the weekly work schedule of the CareTeam, Facility Monitor, and HCC staff.

5.Maintain such records as required by supervisor.

6.Be available to talk to clients if necessary.

7.Monitors client’s self-administration of medications as per WACs and ABHS policies and procedures.

8.Observes specimen collection and provides documentation for urinalysis (UAs).

9.Be knowledgeable regarding safe policy and procedures related to position.

10. Keep accurate, legible written log of events that take place during the course of your shift.

11. Ensures the accuracy of the Medication Administration Record(MAR).

12. Conveys pertinent information to clinical staff in an effective and timely manner.

13. Develops and implements in-service educational programs for staff.

14. Development of departmental policies and procedures.

15.Coordinate Safety Committee and maintains appropriate records.

16. Ability to take written and verbal orders.

17. Performs other related duties as assigned.

18. Ensures that staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs.

19. Responds to the directives of the supervisor and management staff in a professional and cooperative manner.

20. Assures that all ABHS’ clients’ needs are met with dignity and respect and in a timely manner.

21.Makes decisions based on the welfare of the client, the success of the team, and the quality and integrity of the program.

22. Understands and facilitates federal confidentiality laws, 42 CFR, and protects client confidentiality/anonymity, and assures no information is shared without proper authorization. Ensures compliance to contractual obligations, ABHS policies, and State statues (WACs).

23.Ensures that staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs.
