23 - $35 hourly DOE
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
- Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made
- Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
Key Responsibilities :
Perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical (single and 3-phase), hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure consistent plant operations.Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, plant safety rules, and GMPs.Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.Dismantle equipment to replace or repair defective parts using tools and, when necessary, cranes or hoists.Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and safety risks.Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing.Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address production and maintenance issues effectively.Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing ideas and engaging in team initiatives.Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Preferred Skills :
Experience with TIG welding, specifically on stainless steel.Familiarity with Allen-Bradley VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).Qualifications :
Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skillsOver 2 years of maintenance experienceShould be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemsFlexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekendsStrong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and proceduresMinimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; advanced training in mechanical systems, instrumentation, or industrial automation preferred.Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, boilers, refrigeration, and wastewater systems.Familiarity with industrial automation and automated packing systems.Ability to read electrical prints and operate testing instruments.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Knowledge of standard maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures.Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.About Company
