Work Purpose
Operate the forklift providing supply chain support through the collection, loading, shipping, and receiving of materials from one location to another within the plant facilities efficiently and safely.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete the daily forklift checklist at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper and safe operation, and the identification of any issues that may require maintenance intervention.
- Responsible for loading and unloading incoming or outgoing cargo trucks in a timely manner, stacked in the assigned places.
- Find and move stacks of products, pallets, or boxes to store or ship.
- Supply the production areas with the raw materials that are required for each work order.
- Remove finished products from workstations.
- Recurrently emptying the garbage containers from the workstations in the main container.
- Complying with the legal guidelines and regulations of the company.
- Putting diesel in the forklift.
- Washing the forklift once a week.
