Retention Specialist Position Summary
The Retention Specialist is responsible for the coordination of events in the medical centers to retain members. The Retention Specialist must ensure that the medical center is providing a safe and engaging environment for seniors, with the goal of patient retention. The Retention Specialist is required to make sure that all policies and procedures are followed.
Retention Specialist Essential Job Functions

- Retain patients by organizing events, keeping them healthy, happy and returning to American Care.
- Coordination and setting up of events at the center
- Working together with the Outreach department to come up with events and host events
- Hosting/Teaching the necessary events (i.e. Arts and Crafts, Bingo, Dominoes, etc.) at the center
- Educate patients and potential members about American Care
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED diploma
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience
