Now Hiring: Full-Time Warehouse Associate
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, your top priority is to assist customers in the lumberyard and receiving area. Additional responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, culling lumber, merchandising, stocking freight, maintaining a clean workspace, assisting with deliveries, and more. Experience in building materials and/or forklift operation is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack daily orders according to company processes
- Process and restock returns
- Receive and sort inbound shipments
- Perform quality control
- Operate forklifts upon completion of training and certification (or utilize existing forklift experience)
- Maintain a clean work environment and organize the warehouse
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and work in a physically demanding environment
- Valid driverโs license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Energetic, positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to operate forklifts and other machinery
- Basic math and written/verbal communication skills
- Warehouse experience; experience driving a box truck is a plus
