In this role, the Business Consultant II will be responsible for representing the Client Development business area, while working within PFSCO, and across departments at American Century, with data analysis, strategy implementation support and cross-business relationship, that will support innovative business solutions and outcomes that directly impact the firm’s bottom-line and/or employee retention and attrition.
You will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving business partner relationships within PFSCO. You will be responsible for support of operational issue resolution and development of new or improved strategies to address areas of opportunities. You will develop and maintain a network of contacts inside and outside of American Century, maintains a technical knowledge of PFS platforms and processes, and knowledge of the business areas/channels objectives to facilitate good business solutions and outcomes.
Major Responsibilities
- Data Analysis
- Create and analyze call driver data, employee feedback, and other relevant information to identify trends and potential issues.
- Presentation and Communication
- Clearly present findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership, through reports and presentations.
- Facilitate activities between business partners, Operations Support, IT partners, and other ACI working teams to maintain open channels of communication.
- Implementation Support
- Assist the department in implementing proposed changes and provide ongoing guidance throughout the process.
- Project & Initiative Management
- Lead Client Development and Contact Center projects/initiatives, as well as managing the associated timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Facilitate the completion of a program, project, event or product by coordinating the activities of the working team
- Organizational Effectiveness
- Lead and/or support efforts around Contact Center recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement and other day to day operations
- Support other company or department initiatives as assigned.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Exposure to or understanding of the Financial Services/Asset Management industries preferred
- Crucial communication, presentation and task organization skills
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sophisticated skill in computer usage and the ability to type 30 WPM minimum
- Ability to practice resiliency, flexibility, and relationship management
- Mutual fund industry knowledge preferred.
