Chevrolet Master Technician - General Motors

Job Overview Chevrolet dealer is hiring for a Chevrolet Master Technician. The candidate must be a certified General Motors technician currently employed at a new car dealership. Do not apply if you are not currently a factory-certified technician.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, particularly with GM vehicles. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of service for our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Execute high-quality repairs and maintenance on GM vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate vehicle components.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and service quality.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to transmit technical information clearly.
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, particularly for GM vehicles.
• Experience as a service technician with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
