Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Assist with residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and cleaning up after jobs are completed.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Conduct custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing floors, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts by following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Execute floor care routines for both commercial and residential spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Experience with buffing equipment or floor care machinery is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
