The role of the Sales Representative (Sales Rep) is to provide high-level interactions with customers to understand their needs and help them make a purchase decision. Typical daily tasks include preparing pricing documentation to customers, responding to customer calls and emails, order processing, managing data in our customer management system.
A successful Sales Representative excels in attention to details, takes initiative, builds long-term relationships, exhibits a positive attitude working in a team environment, and closing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with customers in a professional, timely manner.
- Educating customers on products and features.
- Establishing and managing customer relationships.
- Preparing price quotes and project proposals that benefit customers.
- Help customers make a decision that is beneficial to them.
- Functioning as project manager to ensure successful customer experience.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional and industry publications; establishing personal and professional networks; and researching industry related topics.
