You’ve mastered T accounts and now it’s time for a real-world experience! American College of Radiology (ACR) is searching for a dynamic Accounting Intern to join our GL Team. In this role, you will use various accounting systems to analyze data and create journal entries that flow into our financials. You will provide support for our month-end close process and support preparation of audit schedules and GL account reconciliations. You will gain a hands-on understanding of the full accounting cycle. We’ll help you gain valuable work experience by enhancing your knowledge while cultivating the skills you need to be successful. - Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparations
- Work closely with our Accounting Department leadership
- Gain hands-on experience within an ERP and other accounting systems
- Gain experience understanding how your accounting classes translate to a real-life business environment
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
Who you are:
- Current undergraduate student (Accounting, or Finance majors preferred)
- Enrolled full-time and carrying a 3.0 GPA
- Detail-oriented, reliable, curious, and mature
- Eager to learn, self-driven and take initiative
- System savvy
What to Expect
- We will be conducting interviews beginning in March
- Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by mid-April
- Interns will join the team on May 19th and conclude their experience on August 8th

Work Location: This position will have a Remote schedule. Candidates be willing to work Eastern Time Zone core office hours (8:30A - 5:00P EST). Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, professional discipline and have excellent time management skills.

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy. ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably. Interns work a 32.5 hour work week (Monday through Friday, with Friday afternoon off!), from 5/19/25 - 8/8/25. Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00.
