We are looking for a passionate individual with some academic or professional background in SQL Data Engineering. We need an individual with a Strong understanding of SQL database concepts, Data Modeling knowledge, AWS Migration Knowledge, and SQL query and manipulation. This internship would involve working closely with the Data Engineering and Dev OPS team.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering requirements
- Understanding various deployment environments
- Working with our existing Data Engineering and AWS tools
- Understand our current database and project requirements from the Data Engineering team
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Work on continuous integration and continuous delivery of these projects.
This role would require working with the following tools and services: SQL MGMT Tools, SQL Server, MySQL, AWS DMS, AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Redshift, and AWS CloudFormation.
Skill & Responsibilities:
- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across different databases.
- Must have a good understanding of relational database concepts, and data modeling techniques to design efficient database structures.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data pipelines
- Must have basic skills in programming preferably in Python.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality throughout the data processing.
- Hands-on expertise with Versioning tools preferably GitHub.
- Have a clear understanding and some hands-on experience with CI/CD tools available in AWS and Azure.
- Strong attention to detail, good work ethic, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and good communication skills
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy. ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably. Interns work a 32.5 hour work week, from 5/19/25 – 8/8/25, with every Friday afternoon off! Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00.
