Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Forest Service system trails to standard using a variety of tools and equipment
- Assist in the collection of data on trails and conditions using GPS/GIS technology
- Provide excellent visitor service by answering questions and educating the public about Wilderness regulations and Leave No Trace principles
- Collaborate with partners on projects and attend public events hosted by the motorized community
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to participate in specialized training programs, such as crosscut saw operation and rock-work/rigging techniques.
