This position is located at Marion County Preparation Plant in Fairview, WV. We are seeking hard working, motivated individuals. If you are interested in pursuing a career with great potential, we want you!
This is not an underground position. The work environment is on or above the surface
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to efficiently and effectively supervise and direct a crew of men
Must be able to follow a plant flow sheet.
Must be able to walk and inspect belt lines to tops of silos and transfer buildings
Must have excellent communication skills
Have awareness of daily cost objectives and make sure they are met or exceeded company expectations
Ability to communicate effectively
Complete process sampling as directed
Other plant related maintenance duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE :
Up to one (1) year of Preparation Plant and maintenance experience is preferred
Supervisory experience is preferred
Excel and Word experience is preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must be 18 years of age
Reliable transportation
MSHA Surface certification required
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Underground training is not required
Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
Job duties will be performed on or above the surface. Those interested must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State surface certifications and successfully complete industry approved training courses
Must be able to pass a post offer drug test and background check
Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires (subject to applicant’s religious practices)
Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule (subject to the applicant’s religious practices)
Must be able to work on heights and confined / close spaces
Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
Ability to push / pull as needed
Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50 pounds as needed
