About the Role :
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects. You’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day engineering activities, ensuring smooth project execution, and working closely with estimating, preconstruction, and project management teams.
What You'll Do : Estimating & Preconstruction :
Assist with estimating methods and reports.
Attend turnover meetings and gather multiple bids for project scopes.
Support development of detailed estimates for project change orders.
Participate in preconstruction planning and purchasing assignments.
Project Management :
Review technical submittals and shop drawings.
Conduct quality control checks on materials and submittals.
Develop and update project schedules.
Ensure workforce has proper materials, tools, and equipment.
Communicate with superintendents and foremen to address potential issues.
Draft RFIs and ensure subcontractor performance.
Track deliveries, review invoices, and manage project budgets.
Assist with change order pricing and vendor negotiations.
Maintain project records, conduct safety audits, and coordinate major labor activities.
What We're Looking For :
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
