Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies as they arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, including CCTV surveillance checks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques.
- Provide clear documentation of incidents and prepare reports as necessary.
- Assist in training new security staff on protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles, preferably in loss prevention.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain relevant security certifications as required by state regulations.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
