Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities or breaches.
- Provide first aid or CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed to enhance security measures.
Requirements
- Valid security officer certification or equivalent experience in law enforcement or military service.
- First aid and CPR certification required; additional training in conflict management preferred.
- Strong surveillance skills with experience in CCTV operation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing potentially volatile situations.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies is a plus.
