Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mate to oversee the safe operation of our vessels, supervising a team of crew members and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and vessel through vigilant watch keeping and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and develop Third Mates, Engineers, and Deckhands.
- Collaborate with Hotel Officers and Service Crew to deliver exceptional guest service.
Requirements:
- U.S. Coast Guard Mate's license: minimum 100T, desired license 1600T.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- At least 2 years of Mate experience on coastal and river waterways, with Z-drive experience preferred.
