What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waterjet Operator 2nd shift position at American Custom Metal Fabricating, Inc?
Job Summary
Setup and operate CNC Waterjet machine with proper programs, proper material, and ensure parts are cut to the proper quality standards.
Summary of essential Job functions
- Setup machine properly
- Read and understand all paperwork that pertains to the job that is being cut, using the proper components, fixtures and process standards for any given work order.
- Inspect all parts making sure they are cut to the proper quality standards using the proper tools
- Use Waterjet Work Instruction form 098-100 to help maintain quality parts
- Keep a clean and safe work area
Summary of secondary Job functions
- Make sure machine maintenance & repair is kept up with
- Train Waterjet operators
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications required
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Good understanding of Waterjet capabilities within a manufacturing environment
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude
- Computer skills
- Excellent time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
