Job Description:
As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with our Sales team and gain exposure to all aspects of the sales process. You will assist in lead generation, sales outreach, data analysis, and customer relationship management. This is a great opportunity to learn about the inner workings of sales in a fast-paced environment while developing essential skills for your career.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the sales team with lead generation and market research via ZoomInfo
- Reach out to potential clients via email or phone calls to set appointments or gather information.
- Help maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) databases, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales processes.
- Assist in expediting the quote process utilizing our internal quoting system and routing cost data to the appropriate sales team member for quotations.
- Enter standard stock orders generated from our e-commerce site or stock customers.
- Perform other sales-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), as well as other sales automation platforms.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.
