Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
- Fabricate dental appliances and restorations as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong foundation in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is preferred.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management software is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
