American Dental Care-located in Dover, DE is seeking Dental Assistant with the right blend of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities for the Dental Assistant include:
- Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment
- Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
- Taking Digital x-rays; lab work
- Greets and prepares patients for treatment
- Records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient
- Records treatment information in patient records.
- Conducts work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
- Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service
- Must have experience with digital x-rays. Fabricating and seating temporary crowns, and a history in all aspects of general dentistry including endodontic, oral surgery, crown, bridge, dentures
Requirements for the Dental Assistant include:
- Assists with other duties as needed
- A positive attitude is a must
- At least one year of experience is required
- X Ray License
- Eaglesoft experience also a plus, but not required
- Business writing/editing skills
- Case presentation and Computer Skills Required
- Able to multi-task
