Financial Manager Job Opening at Angel Fire Family Dentistry
Location: Angel Fire, NM
Angel Fire Family Dentistry is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Financial Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will oversee the financial operations of the office, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing patient records, insurance claims, and financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both the team and our patients.
Job Duties:
- Check and respond to mail, voicemails, and emails
- Answer phones and assist with financial inquiries
- Prepare and present treatment plan estimates
- Check out patients and collect payments as necessary
- Add insurance checks and EOBs to patient accounts
- Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations
- Validate insurance claims and follow up as needed
- Monitor and respond to messages, missed calls, and faxes
- Send patient statements when required
- Ensure all patients are walked out and their records are submitted properly
- Present financial treatment plan options when appropriate
- Schedule patients and confirm upcoming appointments at least 48 hours in advance
- Coordinate lab cases with dental assistants
- Maintain accurate and updated patient information
- Run and review the end-of-day report for accuracy and completeness
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a financial or billing role, preferably in a dental or medical office
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes and dental terminology
- Ability to manage patient accounts and payment collections accurately
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial matters clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in dental office software and general office applications
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
