JOB SUMMARY

The Sales and Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Manager and Sales and Marketing Associate in executing daily marketing and sales tasks to enhance service delivery for both internal and external prospects and clients. Assigned projects will provide the intern a well-rounded experience within the sales and marketing departments.


Requirements

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and prepares for internal and external meetings, presentations, teleconferences, video conferences, internal team activities, etc.
  • Supports Sales team in the areas of Requests for Proposal (RFP), follow-up with prospective clients and partners, schedule management, and presentation and proposal creation.
  • Support Sales team in pipeline and CRM management.
  • Supports Sales team at conferences when needed.
  • Supports Marketing with video media strategy.
  • Supports Marketing with content creation – graphic design, marketing collateral, videos, and other material as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with ADM policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates professional conduct and interacts in a positive manner with co-workers, clients, and business partners.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development and training programs to further develop knowledge and skills.
  • Espouses ADM’s 4 Core Values, 16 Professional Practices, and Quality Standards as outlined in
  • ADM’s Performance Culture Guide.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.

Communication

  • Strong human relations skills to interface with staff at all levels inside/outside of the organization.
  • Strong conflict management and issue resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and relationship management
  • skills required, as this role interacts with staff at all levels.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to apply the following mathematical concepts to practical situations: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Computer Skills

  • Ability to use various computer applications such as: MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Periodic travel – opportunities to travel with the sales team may be present (roughly 10% travel)
  • The typical noise level for this position is moderate, i.e. business office.
