Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pizzas and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to recipes and customer preferences
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in training new kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of pizza-making techniques and pizza oven operation
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Certification in food safety is a plus
- Familiarity with dietary aide, catering, food handling, food preparation, kitchen operations, fine dining, and restaurant environments
