CAD Operator (Lease Plans)

KEY OBJECTIVE(S)
The Lease Plan Coordinator must be able to multi-task on several levels and will manage all aspects of the leasing plans for retail properties. Core responsibilities include lease plan coordination and management of all tenant spaces and must be able to effectively interact with Leasing Agents, Tenant Coordinators, Operations Managers and Property Management in both verbal and written form.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Oversee and manage the site property leasing plan and overall space management
• Create, manage and track the retail space square footage and envelopes
• Create, manage and track Lease Outline Drawings and overall square foot impact to leasing plan
• Track and manage square footage across the site property and on multiple levels
• Review, interpret and propose layouts of retail tenant spaces in compliance with building/egress codes
• Generate tenant space plans & feasibility study drawings under guidance and provide multiple options
• Manage electronic filing system and storage along with all associated drawings relating to the lease plan
• Participation in cross-functional meetings
• Interface with base building engineers and architects
• Create AD Property improvement proposals
• Additional duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years Retail project experience on landlord or tenant side and preferably within a Mall setting
• Knowledge of standard construction practices, means and methods required
• Working knowledge of building systems, utilities and fire-life safety codes
• Applied knowledge of building egress codes
• Background in retail is a plus
• Excellent communication skills as well as capability in assisting with field measurements

CORE PROFICIENCIES

• Proficient in Microsoft suite, Adobe/Bluebeam and AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of BOMA retail standards (ANSI.BOMA Z65.5 – 2020) required
