RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Asian Markets team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to key Asian markets, aligning with the company’s global vision and objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Social Media Account Management: Create, manage, and monitor all key Asian social media accounts, such as WeChat, Xiao Hong Shu, Douyin/TikTok, Lemon8. Work with KOLs and Influencers to produce quality content and enhance custom engagement.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all social media channels.
- Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, events, and design, to ensure cohesive and brand-consistent outputs.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor social media metrics and KPIs, providing insights and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and ROIs.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in social media strategy and management, with a focus on Asian markets. Working experience in Asia (i.e. China, Korea) is a plus.
- Skills: Proven track record of developing and managing social media campaigns. Proficient in social media analytics tools and platforms. Good at photography and video-editing. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in multiple leagues and Mandarin is a must.
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of cultural nuances and consumer behavior in different Asian countries.
- Bilingual: Fluency in Mandarin.
