The job involves manual unloading at each destination, and drivers must have a minimum of three months of recent OTR or regional driving experience within the last three years. A clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in the last three years is also required. Additionally, drivers must pass a hair follicle and urine test and meet other safety requirements.
The compensation package includes average gross pay of $2,000 per week, as well as base pay of $0.70-$0.80 per mile based on verified experience. Drivers also receive unload pay of $240 per unload, stop pay of $25 per stop, and backhaul pay of $50 per backhaul. Comprehensive training is provided through a week-long ride-along program with a current driver.
