What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cdl trainee position at American Driver?
We are hiring recent CDL-A Graduates
JOB DETAILS :
- Trainees must have VALID Class A CDL
- Minimum 120hr of driving in trucking school
- Trainees must be willing to run OTR for the training period
- Trainees are paid $650 / week
- Training in duration of 4-6 weeks
- Paid orientation $300
- Average take home after training $1100-$1400 weekly
- All freight is dry van and you will run the western US
- 100% no touch with mostly drop and hook
- Benefits start after 60 days including medical, dental, 401K and PTO
- Paid orientation & travel / hotel
Requirements :
- Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL
- No DOT Preventable accidents
- No major accident
- ANY DOT preventable accident in the last 5 years is an auto
- No more than 2 preventable incidents
- Cannot have been terminated from last job due to safety concerns
- NO DUI in the last 5 years in commercial vehicle
- Never have failed a DOT or refused a drug alcohol
