Job Description : We are hiring experienced CDL A Drivers & recent CDL Agraduates to join our team. This position offers competitive payand comprehensive training for those looking to start their careerin trucking.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Runs all of the Northeast states including all of NewEngland and as far south as VA
- Transportfreight that is 100% touch (full hand unload using conveyorbelt)
- Complete a training program consistingof 200250 hours behind the wheel.
- Maintain aclean driving record and adhere to all safetyregulations.
Compensation :
- Average weekly earnings of $1.700
- Pay is based on experience and goes from $0.80 $0.85cpm
- Average miles :
- Extrastop pays $15
HomeTime :
- Out for 14 days with 3448hours at home every otherweek.
- Option to take the truck home duringbreaks.
Benefits :
- Full benefits package (medical dental PTOetc.) after 30 days of employment.
- Rider andpet policy available after training.
- Paidorientation $300 on your first paycheck
Training Details :
- Training pay : $650 per week.
- Duration : 200250 hours of handson training.
- Upon successful completion drivers start at $0.80 CPM
Experienced DriverRequirements :
- Minimum6 months of verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months or1 year in the last 5 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12months (includes personal and CDL).
- No serioustraffic violations (e.g. speeding 15 reckless driving following tooclosely) in the last 12 months.
- No more than 1 onroad DOT recordable preventableaccident in the last 2 years; no major preventableaccidents in the last 5 years.
- Maximum of 4 jobs in the last 12 months; cannothave been let go from the most recent company for safetyviolations.
TraineeRequirements :
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class ACDL.
- Clean driving record : No speedingviolations over 15 mph no serious accidents and no DUIs in the last5 years (only one DUI in a lifetime allowed).
- No misdemeanors or felonies in the last 10 years and noneinvolving children.
- Must not have failed orrefused a DOT drug or alcoholtest.
- No more than 6 months ofunemployment in the last year or 1year in the last 3 years.
