POSITION TITLE: Lead Lab Associate – Aerie Styling
REPORTS TO: Assistant Manager – Aerie & Offline Visual Labs
STATUS: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for assisting the Aerie Styling Coordinator and Lab
- Management in the execution, styling, documentation, and operational aspects of the visual lab stores. This is inclusive of the build and maintenance of all floorsets, related projects, inventory control, development of associates, and upholding all visual standards.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Train, develop and coach part-time lab associates on Aerie visual styling standards and merchandising process
- Support Styling Coordinator with the execution and build of all bustform needs for all seasonal floorset builds
- Work to own bustform styling and execution for conversion builds - inclusive of Market, Classic, Modern, and Offline store designs
- Work with the Visual production team to own bustform write-up documentation across all store designs and formats
- Work to own all interior and window photography needs each floorset
- Review all seasonal floorset documentation prior to releasing to store fleet - including interior, window, and style bar across all formats
- Lead bustform organization needs each floor set - including Stylist rack and prop closets
- Assist with building seasonal concept windows
- Work with Styling Coordinator on special projects and Lab Management operational needs
- Assist with building seasonal color palettes for Styling team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High degree of proficiency in Google, Adobe Suite and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Styling-related field preferred
- 2 years Styling-related or retail experience preferred
- Physical labor required
- Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Flexibility within work schedule, possibility of travel
