This role will oversee technical strategy, architecture, and execution, ensuring seamless integration of Blue Yonder (JDA) solutions with our cloud data engineering platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in enterprise retail systems and cloud-based architectures.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in enterprise retail systems and cloud-based architectures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on merchandise planning, inventory planning and inventory optimization.
- Drive the integration of Blue Yonder (JDA) planning systems with internal and external applications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including international, merchandising, supply chain, and data analytics, to optimize planning and allocation processes.
- Ensure best practices in software development, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and DevOps.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic goals.
- Oversee system performance, reliability, and scalability while implementing proactive monitoring and troubleshooting strategies.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in retail technology, cloud computing, and AI-driven planning solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of Blue Yonder (JDA) Merchandise Planning & Allocation systems
- Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in enterprise retail systems and omnichannel commerce
- Knowledge of AI/ML-driven forecasting and demand planning
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
