Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Marketing Director with a strong background in proposal writing and content creation within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of winning proposals and bids for new business opportunities, ensuring all submissions are tailored to client needs and align with industry standards.
- Content Creation & Strategy: Develop a content strategy that highlights the company’s expertise in the construction industry, including creating brochures, website copy, blog posts, press releases, case studies, and technical documentation.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s brand, services, and value proposition within the construction market.
- Brand Messaging & Positioning: Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all marketing channels, reinforcing the company’s reputation as a leader in the construction industry.
- Collaboration with Sales and BD Teams: Work closely with business development and sales teams to align marketing and proposal strategies with the company’s sales goals and customer needs.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay current with construction industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in marketing efforts.
- Team Leadership: Oversee a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality output across all marketing functions.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop customized marketing and proposal materials that align with project requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing within the construction or related industries.
- Strong proposal writing skills, with a proven track record of creating successful proposals for public and private sector construction projects.
- Exceptional content writing abilities, with experience in drafting technical content, client-facing materials, and promotional pieces for the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of the construction industry, including terminology, project types, regulatory requirements, and challenges.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Canva, InDesign, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- A strong portfolio of proposal and content writing examples within the construction industry is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
