Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, engineering technology, or related field; or Associate’s degree in related field with 2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
Eight years of experience with industrial projects in the areas of construction, project management, plant operations, or engineering
Travel:
Up to 30% travel or as needed per business for the assigned project(s)

$132,562.00-172,331.00 USD

Job Description
Essential Job Functions & Tasks
- Constructability Assessment: Evaluate drawings and plans to identify potential constructability issues and recommend solutions to enhance project delivery.
- Contractor Evaluation and Selection: Conduct thorough evaluations of potential contractors by assessing their qualifications, experience, safety records and past performance. This includes preparing detailed criteria for selection, participating in the bidding process and negotiating contract terms to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule and budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, procurement, environmental, safety, and construction teams to ensure that constructability considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Standards Development: Establish and maintain constructability standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Work Package Definition and Planning: Develop and support work packages that define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements for each phase of a project.
- Risk Management: Identify and analyze risks related to constructability and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of constructability reviews, assessments, and decisions to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect and implement lessons learned and best practices from previous projects, industry, published documentation, and peer utilities.
- Workforce Development: Support creating of workforce requirements needed to construct new generation projects.
Education:
