Job Summary
The TFS Coordinator position will be responsible for the verification of facilities in service in accordance with FAC-008 standards. The coordinator will collaborate with TFS field personnel and engineering teams to effectively execute the work plan.
The successful candidate for the TFS Coordinator position will work with TFS Station, Protection & Control and Transmission Line personnel on FAC-008. After training, they will be expected to assist with FAC-008 asset verification efforts. The TFS Coordinator will work with TFS and Engineering on FAC-008 processes and the associated process documentation. The TFS Coordinator will be responsible for development and analysis of FAC-008 controls and metrics. The TFS Coordinator will work directly with TFS personnel when a possible FAC-008 issue is discovered. The TFS Coordinator will also be involved with the review of TFS non-specific or emerging work for impact to FAC-008. The TFS Coordinator will ensure that Field Marked Prints are submitted and that changes are reviewed and incorporated in production prints that will be utilized in the next project.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Review in servicing and retirement of FAC-008 assets with RCA/LCA teams to ensure proper status and asset attributes in IPS
- Review NSW work orders and investigate that IPS and FMPs reflect work – including FAC-008 items
- Review FMP metric and work with RCA and CCA teams
- Facilitate the review of FAC-008 verifications and assist FAC-008 core team with status updates
- Document process controls and procedures utilized to support TFS FAC-008 efforts
- Review modifications of existing TFS Policy & Procedures to ensure FAC-008 is addressed, if applicable
- Publish FAC-008 process updates to TFS leadership
- Answer TFS Station and P&C personnel FAC-008 compliance and process questions
- Validate Station and P&C assets remotely utilizing NewSpin photography of CT photographs
- Assist with NewSpin coordination
- Coordinate TFS/Construction Management execution of the FAC-008 verification plan
- Participate in review of 2024 and execution of 2025 TFS plans and syncing
- Assist with FAC-008 facility reviews on the Master Spreadsheet
- The successful candidate must reside within the AEP service territory and be within driving distance of a transmission main office or service center.
- Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical and 6 years' of utility experience
- OR high school diploma or GED and 10 years' of related utility experience.
- Utility experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station or P&C experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.
- Technical experience is preferred.
