What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission Land Manager position at American Electric Power?
The Transmission Right of Way Manager reports to the Senior Right of Way Manager. This position is responsible for managing transmission right of way activities in coordination with efforts of the TROW group.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple transmission regions, enforcing AEP's easement rights, and coordinating tree trimming activities.
- Negotiating with government agencies, corporations, and landowners on existing transmission lines.
- Preparation and revision of tax reports and regulatory reports on transmission land rights owned by AEP.
This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products and land management databases.
