Position Type: Full-time, in-office (40 hours per week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with a minimum of three years of experience to fill the full-time, in-office role of Customer Experience Specialist at American Electrical Contracting in Jacksonville. The successful candidate will oversee various customer-related responsibilities, including handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, addressing customer concerns, managing payments, generating daily reports, recommending products and services, overseeing permit procedures, coordinating inspections, and supporting data entry tasks.
Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound calls to address customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate efficiently with technicians to schedule and ensure timely customer appointments.
Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints with a high level of professionalism and empathy.
Accurately collect and process payments, adhering to established procedures.
Generate and maintain various daily reports to monitor key metrics and customer interactions.
Utilize knowledge of products and services to recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
Oversee the opening and closing of permits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Coordinate inspection schedules with customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth processes.
Support the team with data entry tasks and uphold accurate records in the company database.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and relevant software applications.
Capability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
Understanding of sales principles and the ability to recommend products and services.
Experience in scheduling and coordinating appointments or tasks is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
