Mixing Plant Hand
American Well Services is located in Midland, TX and provides well service rigs for the purpose of workover or completion operations. Along with the well service rigs, AWS offers a wide range of additional wellsite support services including, fluid transfer, fishing and rental services, hot oiling, frac tank rental and wellsite construction. AWS is managed by seasoned industry veterans and services blue-chip customers in the Permian Basin with a substantial asset base, strong safety culture and industry-leading operating procedures. American Well Services provides a full suite of completions and workover solutions to customers in the Permian Basin.
Position Overview:
A Mixing Plant Hand will routinely assist the Mixing Plant Operator in rig up and rig down procedures and actively help in mixing chemicals.
Responsibilities:

Rig up and maintain equipment through operations

Keep daily chemical inventory and usage

Strap frac tanks as needed among other task laid out by Mixing Plant Operator

Performs other duties as assigned by Mixing Plant Operator or Supervisor

Follows and supports all AWS HSE policies at all times

Knows and uses appropriate PPE at all times
-
Drives company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off road situations including two track roads
Qualifications
Experience:
-
A minimum of six (6) months experience working rotational shift work, working in inclement weather, and/or manual labor experience, preferred

Able to multi-task in fast paced environment

Works well with others

Basic problem solving and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, required

Class A CDL, strongly preferred

Ability to communicate, read & write in English
-
Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law.

Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on routine basis

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision

Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
-
Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
