We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist for a Temporary, Temp-to-Hire position with an anticipated duration of 4-6 months. This full-time role requires 100% onsite presence, Monday through Friday. There is potential for the position to transition to a full-time role during or after the contract period, based on performance and business needs.

This position develops targeted, actionable plans such as optimizing job postings, leveraging social media and job boards to source candidates, and streamlining the interview and application process. Effective communication and collaboration between talent acquisition and hiring managers is crucial to ensure job requirements are clearly defined and met.
The use of recruitment technology (ADP) to manage workflows and candidate pipelines efficiently is critical to success in this role. This position will also work collaboratively with marketing to strengthen AET’s employer brand – creating compelling job postings, showcasing AET’s unique culture, and building a robust digital presence through social media and other channels.

Essential Functions

- Create and execute talent strategies based on understanding of business needs aligned with understanding of the candidate marketplace (both internal and external).
- Conduct in person and virtual interviews and lead structured feedback sessions to evaluate and align on top candidates.
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring thorough, informative, streamlined, and engaging candidate experience.
- Utilize ATS reporting functionality to communicate candidate pipelines and recruiting status as appropriate.
- Support recruitment related projects including but not limited to employment branding, candidate experience initiatives, talent acquisition training.
- Attract and engage in highly qualified, diverse, and proactive talent pipelines.
- Establish and maintain a network of qualified candidates through various channels, building and maintaining a network of talented candidates through market research, college campus partnerships, community building and on-going relationship management for a broad range of positions.
- Successfully manage full cycle hiring needs for various business units and all levels of positions.
- Proactively manage recruitment by maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, exploring new sourcing options, and developing creative, cost-effective approaches to connecting top talent with hiring teams.
- Collaborate with the HR Team on compensation, term replacements, projected new hires and create continuous recruitment plans.[AF1]
- Provide hiring managers and HR with market intelligence, suggestions for candidate interview assessment, and strong offer management support.
- Continuously refine our employer brand strategy in partnership with the company’s Marketing and leadership team based on comments from candidates and employees.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and aligned to the HR and business strategy.
- Support corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies & procedures.
- Deliver weekly recruiting metrics to hiring managers and the HR team.

- At least 2 years of high-volume recruiting experience.
- A passion for creating an award-winning candidate experience, from initial resume submission to onboarding.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels in the organization.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- The ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and easily to changing situations and priorities.
- Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and discretion with regard to employee information.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods and procedures required by the position.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- Prior experience recruiting for Engineering positions is a plus.
- Experience with ADP preferred.
