Automotive Technician

The position will coordinate with supervision, perform field and laboratory quality control testing of various construction materials. Perform a variety of field and lab tests per AET QA Procedures, maintaining a high level of quality and safety. The services provided within the company are performed to the standards of our industry including ASTM, ASIC, and ACI as well as state laws governing professional services. All services will be performed in accordance with AET's QA / QC procedures.

Essential Functions

• Performing field and laboratory testing of concrete, soils, bituminous and masonry products.
• Perform other laboratory tests and calibrations as directed.
• Ability read and understand plans and specifications.
• Reporting test results
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, contractors, and / or ready-mix suppliers.
• Maintain AETs productivity standards.
• Must provide quality of service and work product that meets or exceeds AETs expectations.
• Must have skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with coworkers and clients.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role will not have any direct reports or provide work direction.

Work Environment

This position also may require field work in outdoor conditions on construction sites with uneven ground and adverse weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Transparency

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $20.77-$25.38 per hour based on skill set and experience.
