American English College (www.aec.edu) - Rowland Heights campus is looking for passionate and motivated, in-person ESL Instructor to join our passionate team of educators.
You will work closely with smart and fun students from around the world, your mission will be to bring your classroom to life while meeting learning objectives and AEC educational standards.
Class Schedule: The ESL Instructor position Winter 2025 quarter (to start ASAP). Upon successful interview training and onboarding processes will start immediately.
- Morning (Monday - Thursday, 9:00AM- 1:30PM)
- Prep pay available
Requirements*:
- Background working with beginning ESL learners
- Able to create a classroom environment that is student-centered, with a communicative focus, and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
- Employment instructional methods that are most appropriate for meeting the learning objectives
- Experience bringing lessons to life with interesting but objective-driven activities
- Recognition of student needs and adjust lessons/approach accordingly
- ESL teaching experience in an IEP setting
- Have taught young adults to adults (16 )
- Have taught 50-minute to 75-minute class blocks
