Administrative
- Help with daily administrative duties: handling confidential documents, organization, correspondence, and other clerical duties
- Be able to communicate school policies, student immigration, and admissions information in a clear and understandable way
- Develop healthy and friendly relationships with students and faculty
- Help students with educational questions regarding college admissions
- Work closely with student advisors and Director of Administration to manage, communicate, and monitor student affair
Student Recruitment
- Must feel comfortable with assisting new student inquiries via email, telephone, and in-person meet
- Find ways to build and nurture new student leads
- Keep the team organized and up-to-date on student leads
Other Requirements
- Bilingual in Mandarin
- Multilingual in additional languages is a plus
- Must have strong spoken and written English skills
- Recent sales or customer service experience
- Able to stay extremely organized and think creatively
- Interest in Business, Communications, or other related fields
- Savvy with social media or interest in Marketing is a plus
Summary
As a Student Advisor, you will be instrumental in guiding and supporting students through their academic journey. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will leverage your core experience with international education and skills in communication to foster student success. Your solutions oriented mentality and organizational skills will support our team in ensure student files are orderly and accordingly to accrediting standards. Additionally, your relevant experience in recruiting, along with bilingual capabilities in English and Mandarin, will enable you to effectively support current and prospective international students.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
